Here we take a look at a few news stories that have come out this week. While we won’t be covering everything we will cover what we consider standouts during the week.

Rouge One on Blu-Ray Gets A Release Date

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few years you’ll have noticed that Star Wars has made a big comeback which is in no small part to Disney taking the reigns. While the jury is still out on The Force Awakens the first in the so called Anthology films Rogue One was met with almost universal praise and we now have a definitive release date for what can only be described as the best Star wars film since The Empire Strikes Back.

Disney have announced that Rouge One A Star wars Story will be released on Blu ray on April 4th with a Digital HD release set for March 24th. There is a full list of feature at but the most noticeable absence is any kind of deleted scenes being on the Blu Ray release which considering all the reshoots that took place, including a completely different ending is downright strange. Hopefully Disney is holding something back and we can finally get to see what the cut scenes would have looked like in the finished film.

The Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy May Not Be an Exclusive After All

A twitter post from Playstation Ireland has stated that the remastered Crash Bandicoot Trilogy coming to Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro may be a timed exclusive only. The post says that the game will be released on June 30th and will come to the PS4 and PS4 Pro first.

While this is a very cryptic message we can safely assume this means the game will eventually be coming to Microsoft’s Xbox and maybe just maybe Nintendo’s new Switch console. No other platforms have been confirmed yet but this gives Xbox players hope that we can see our favorite Bandicoot on the Xbox One.

Mass Effect Andromeda Weapons Briefing

Bioware have released several more videos relating to the release of Mass Effect Andromeda. With the game now less than a month away we are being treated to a few more details about what we will be doing in the Helios Cluster of the Andromeda galaxy.

The first Video shows of a few of the game’s weapons and profiles you’ll be using to take down enemies and customise your squad. We will have access to the standard weapons we know of from the previous games from SMG’s and Sniper rifles to the new assortment of melee weapons that have expanded on the principle of in Mass Effect 3’s Omni Blade.

The trailer also shows several profiles that unlike previous games don’t lock you into a combat, tech or biotic style of play. This is meant to prevent you having to replay the game over again just to use a different class, honestly a welcome addition from my point of view.

We also had the very welcome surprise of seeing Game of Thrones Natalie Dormer recording some lines for her Asari character Dr Lexi T’Perro, the doctor aboard your new ship The Tempest.
